Clave & Blues Trio

Clave & Blues Trio is a dynamic Cuban Music and Latin Jazz band that has been performing across various concert halls and festivals in the Boston area since 2016. Their appearances include notable venues like the Lawrence Jazz Festival and Boston POPS. The band’s rich blend of Afro-Cuban rhythms, Blues, R&B, and World music forges a contemporary sound that solidifies their position in the New England music scene.

Composed of professional international musicians from Berklee College of Music, the band is directed by Cuban pianist and Berklee graduate Anibal Cruz. Their debut single, “La Raza” (2020), echoes a call for peace, celebrates diversity, and promotes inclusion, all while paying tribute to traditional Cuban Music and its culture, featuring collaborations with artists from around the world.

“Our goal is to create music that engages people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. We aim to grow an audience that loves Cuban Music and its Culture,” states the band.
