Candombe meets Bostonia!

Alejandra Gala is a trumpet player from Uruguay, South America. She has been immersed in Uruguayan traditional music called Candombe. Alejandra’s music transmits a message that configures within each listener. She is interested in exploring the connection between different languages, rhythms, and traditions.

The Uruguayan trumpet player presents a show called “Candombe meets Bostonia!”. Her quintet features Noah Preminger (tenor sax), Eric Hofbauer (guitar), John Lockwood (double bass) and Carlos H. Pou (drums).
