Bencils’ first album: “Who is Ben Ancell” provides an intimate look into inner conflict surrounding shame, guilt and romantic confusion. After first listen: the album’s soundscape is laiden with acoustic guitars, airy vocals, and cutting lyrics that emotionally tug the listener into Bencils’ world. The 10-track album gracefully finishes in a short 15 minutes, and provides a brief glimpse into the moments Bencils was reflecting on during the recording process.
Bencils is a multimedia artist who works with a team of like-minded peers that strive to push the boundaries of what is expected from them during their developmental years.
