The East West Collective is a r&b Chinese fusion group. We hope to reimagine traditions and bridge the east and west through fusing Chinese music with r&b, neo soul, and gospel music.

Betty Ding 修华 is a 26 year old r&b singer-songwriter and Voice Performance student at Berklee College of Music. She is the singer and band leader of the East West Collective. With an introspective lyrical writing style, her music explores themes of peace, spirituality, and healing. Through her music, she hopes to reclaim her culture, reinterpret traditions and push the boundaries of Chinese music.
