Season 1 Recap

The Emerson College UnCommon Stage has successfully wrapped its first season. From May to October 2023, more than 250 artists presented nearly 300 hours of live performances. This was made possible thanks to our stellar community curators: Departure Arts, BAMS Fest, Jazz Urbane Cafe, Terri Lyne Carrington and the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice, and Carl Lavin Productions.

In addition to providing live entertainment onstage, the College is proud to have broadcasted 600+ hours of music at the venue via our award-winning radio station, WERS.

In partnership with Trillium Brewing Co. and the City of Boston, the College is thrilled to have helped activate our corner of Boston Common this past summer.

We look forward to engaging the community for next year’s season of unCommon entertainment, food, and drink beginning in May 2024!
